Jodi Anderson is publicly known as ‘Just Jodi’ is an eclectically soulful singer and songwriter from Sheffield, UK.

Jodi also plays the guitar and hand percussion drums such as the Cajon and the Toca drum.

 

She has a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in Performing Arts.

 

Being described as a mix between, Joss Stone, Lianne La Havas and Florence and the Machine, Jodi still has a high element of individuality that people just can’t seem to put a pin on.

 

Jodi Anderson began her music career as a Cajon player/ Backing vocalist in the modern Acoustic Folk band from Sheffield called Upside.

 

Upside were fortunate enough to become one of the grand finalists in the Live and Unsigned competition and therefore played at the O2 Arena, London.

 

Upside Featured on Sheffield Live Radio many times and was featured in the Sheffield Star.

 

Upside has played at just about every playable venue in Sheffield and even showcased at the O2 Arena London.

 

Jodi has played with and alongside some amazing artists including Steve Edwards, LZ7,  Philippa Hanna, Isaiah Raymond Dyer, Janine Dyer (The Voice contestant) and MOBO award winners such as Lurine Kato, Guvna B and many more.

 

Jodi’s music has been played on Mixtape at Sheffield Live, 93.2Fm and BBC Radio Sheffield Introducing.

 

Just Jodi has featured as one of the artists at The Sunday Show in Leicester Square, London and at The Big Church Day Out Festival in May 2014.

 

Alongside 2 fellow musicians, Jodi has successfully run a Music academy for 13 to 21-year-olds upscaling them with vocal training, songwriting, recording techniques, producing tracks & stage presence.

 

Jodi’s passions are equipping people with the skills to pursue their creativity and inspiring them to succeed in anything they put their mind to. She is skilled in acting, directing, music & fine art.
